Natalie James – THerapist & Counsellor
“People interest me”

Stuff like behaviour, personality, and understanding why we do the things we do…. that sort of thing.

Life can be tough at times with the challenges it throws our way. None of us receive a personal life manual telling us how to how to navigate it. We go on life’s journey with whatever resources we have to hand.

You know yourself better than I ever could. My job is stand by your side and work with you in that navigation process.

Natalie James, Therapist Counsellor Manchester

Hello there, I’m Natalie James (Therapist & Counsellor)

LISTENER, CAT LOVER, FOODIE, ART APPRECIATOR, CREATIVE & OUTDOORS TYPE

And the face behind the All Ears Counselling and Psychotherapy practice in Levenshulme, South Manchester.

It’s important to me that you:

  • Have the kind of life you want.
  • Have better relationships with yourself and others
  • Feel understood and validated by the therapy experience

I have oodles of passion for the therapy process. This has come from not only my extensive studies and years of experience as a therapist, but from my own therapy journey too. That started in 2006 and still forms part of my self-care to this day. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done and has been life-changing for me.

It’s hard work and you get out of it what you put in. I’ve experienced first-hand the benefits of therapy:

    • Inner peace and calmness
    • Boundaries like a Mofo (most of the time)
    • Better relationships
    • Being kinder to myself
    • Realistic expectations of myself and others

Ultimately, therapy helps you have a more positive and happier life.

I believe Therapy & Counselling is the one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself. It was a gamechanger for me and it can be for you too!

So why work with me?

In short…

I am committed to helping people achieve their goals & bring about positive changE

I offer a direct but kind approach to therapy

Loads of knowledge and experience

If you decide to work with me, I will treat you with honesty, integrity and respect. It’s about us creating a good, solid working relationship. So, we’ll spend time building that, going at a pace that’s right for you.

Together we will look at what’s bringing you to therapy and what you want to get out of it. We’ll then decide on a way forward and work together to bring about the changes you want.

THERE’S NO MAGIC WAND TO MAKE YOUR PROBLEMS VANISH!

but,The good news is I can support your journey and guide you when needed, offering you relevant and honest input.

By teaching you the basics of some simple models and ways of looking at stuff, I can help you gain a better understanding of yourself and your life. Increased self-awareness is often the key to action and getting the kind of life you want.

I also practice from The Didsbury Counselling & Therapy Centre in West Didsbury on Tuesday afternoons.

Both locations are in easy reach of Chorlton, Didsbury, Sale, Altrincham, Manchester city centre, the four Heatons and Stockport
